Eastgate was finally closed on the 1st December 1975. All trace of the station was eventually obliterated, and it's site is now occupied by a road and an Asda superstore (opened in the early 1980s).Previous | NextAnother Western heads a rake of Mk2s through Tiverton Junction in May 1975.
